He's truly the Wizard of OZ... and, baby, the man behind the curtain has NEVER looked so good!
As narrator Augustus Hill
on HBO's highly-acclaimed series OZ, Harold Perrineau,
Jr. has emerged as one of the most articulate philosophers of
our time -- a man who grapples with the crueler ironies and indignities
of modern life.
Certainly, this obvious intelligence
on his part makes him incredibly attractive to us Tarts. However,
frankly speaking -- and can a Tart do anything but? -- it's really
the dreads that send us spinning into paroxysms of lust: those
regal, dancing, manly dreads that frame his astonishingly expressive
face. We love those dreads. We can think of a hundred and one
uses for those dreads.... we can imagine grabbing onto those
dreads as he..... oh, never mind. We're sure you get the picture.
But just in case you don't -- below, we proudly present a gallery
of photos of...
Tart City's February Man of the Month,
Harold Perrineau:

By the way: Brooklyn native Perrineau
is a classically trained actor who made his screen debut opposite
Harvey Keitel and William Hurt in Smoke after studying
music and theater at the Shenandoah Conservatory and training
with the renowned Alvin Ailey modern dance company. His OZ
wheelchair aside, he is an accomplished martial artist who is
skilled in the study of Kung Fu Wu-Su. Before hitting it big
on OZ, he appeared on Law & Order, The Days and
Nights of Molly Dodd and a number of other television shows.
His film credits include:
WOMAN ON TOP, WINGS AGAINST THE
WIND, SMOKE. BLOOD AND WINE, ROMEO & JULIET, FLIRT. KING
OF NEW YORK, SHAKEDOWN, THE EDGE, THE BEST MAN
